Travel that transforms. At TSAAM, we invite you to slow down, breathe deeply, and discover Ladakh as it has been lived for generations through ancient traditions, quiet mountain mornings, and connections that stay with you long after you leave. Our heritage home in Igoo Village is your gateway to authentic Ladakh: a place where culture, craft, and the rhythms of village life create something rare space to simply be.
Accommodation
Three distinct sanctuaries, each offering its own character, comfort, and quiet luxury for every kind of traveler.
Derived from the local words shel (glass) and khang (room), Shelkhang was traditionally used as a winter guest room.
Filled with natural sunlight through large windows, it is one of the warmest and most peaceful spaces in the house. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the village and surrounding mountains.
Named after a traditional roof opening, Thokkar once served as a prayer and meditation room.
Today, it has been transformed into a premium bedroom with a modern attached bathroom. A skylight above the bed allows guests to enjoy Ladakh’s star-filled night sky from the comfort of their room.
Historically the most prestigious room in the house, Rabsal was once reserved for members of the royal family.
Featuring its original wooden balcony, this heritage room offers stunning views of the village and nearby glaciers, combining history, comfort, and architectural beauty.
Our most spacious offering, designed for guests who appreciate privacy, serene living areas, and premium comforts that feel truly inviting.
Where modern comforts embrace a serene through-flow of cooling breezes into a private garden terrace. Warm spaces & luxurious textures define every stay.
The pinnacle of sophistication — a luxurious suite with a refined living room, premium bath amenities, and personalized butler service around the clock.
Celebrations
The village of Igoo is not a museum it is a living community, and TSAAM is proudly part of it. Our cultural experiences invite guests to step beyond the role of visitor and into something closer to participation.
